HUD CPF Support from Start to Finish
HUD Community Project Funding (CPF) grants are congressionally directed awards that support local projects with public benefit—such as housing, public facilities, infrastructure and parks. Unlike competitive HUD programs, CPF funding is only available to entities named by Congress in the annual appropriations act.
We assist with congressional CPF request documentation and advocacy. Once the funding is allocated by Congress and a letter of invitation is received from HUD we assist entities with the grant application, grant agreement, and action plan setup in DRGR. We then assist with program policies and procedures, full grant administration, environmental reviews, Section 3, 2 CFR 200 and more through closeout.
We provide these services for government agencies, nonprofits, and other named recipients of HUD CPF awards—especially those navigating the process for the first time. While CPF is a newer funding stream, its compliance structure shares many requirements with long-standing HUD programs like CDBG. That said, CPF also includes unique elements that require tailored support.
